HUR vs SCO Tips, Stats & Team for BBL T20 Match Prediction

Match:  HUR vs SCO T20 Match Prediction
Time:     14 December, 01:45 PM (IST)

 Series:   BBL T20 Match
Venue:   Bellerive Oval – Hobart, Australia

 Info:

  • T20 World Cup winner Matthew Wade hit 93 from 46 balls in Hobart Hurricanes’ victory over Sydney Sixers on Saturday. He is well worth backing as Hobart Hurricanes’ highest run scorer against Perth Scorchers. Joel Paris impressed with figures of 3-35 on Saturday. The left arm paceman is our tip for Hobart Hurricanes’ top wicket taker in this match.
  • Colin Munro hit the first century of this year‘s BBL on Sunday with 114 not out from 73 balls and is a strong choice for Perth Scorchers’ highest run scorer in this game. With the ball, Australia international Andrew Tye took 3-21 against Adelaide Strikers. Tye is our pick for Perth Scorchers’ top wicket taker against Hobart Hurricanes.
  • We expect the conditions in Hobart to favour pace bowlers and are predicting Andrew Tye to take the Player of the Match Award.

 Live Streaming:

TV Channel : Seven Network and Fox Sports will show this game in Australia. In India, you can watch it on Sony Six. Sky Cricket have the rights in the UK with Willow TV showing the match in the USA. In South Africa you can watch it on SuperSport with Sky Sports showing the game in New Zealand.

Live Streaming: Fans can stream the match on Disney+ Hotstar.

 Weather & Pitch Report:

⛅ Weather:

Cloudy conditions in Hobart with the temperature dropping from 17 to 15° during the match.

🏟️ Pitch:

Although we have had one game in Tasmania already, this is the first match of this year‘s BBL in Hobart. We expect a surface which will help the bowlers and runs will not be easy to come across.

 Toss Prediction:

Although the teams have chosen to bat first in three out of the four games they’ve played, we expect the conditions to favour the team batting second in this game. Our prediction is that both skippers will insert the opposition if they win the toss.

 Team News:

 HUR Team News:

  • Matthew Wade’s side equalled the highest team total in BBL 2021 when they posted 213-2 on Saturday. All of the top three batters made valuable contributions before the bowlers successfully defended the total. There are no injuries in the Hurricanes’ squad and we expect to see the same XI in this match.

 SCO Team News:

  • The Scorchers put together one of their all time best team performances in their 49 run win over Adelaide Strikers. Only three batters were required with their only wicket to fall a run-out before they bowled the Strikers out inside 18 overs. All players have reported back fully fit ahead of this game.

 Winning Chances:

Who will win today match: HUR vs SCO BBL T20 Match Team
This should be an excellent game after both sides picked up valuable victories on Saturday. Hobart Hurricanes posted an impressive 213-2 against Sydney Sixers whilst Perth Scorchers made 195-1 in their win. We are predicting a lower scoring affair in Hobart with Perth scorchers coming out on top.

 HUR Key Players:

Matthew Wade:
Australia’s T20 wicket-keeper wears many hats in this side as the skipper, wicket-keeper and opener. He hit 14 boundaries in the win win over Sydney Sixers.
D’Arcy Short:
The prolific opening batter hit 73 not-out from 51 balls against the reigning BBL Champions on Saturday.
Joel Paris:
The left-arm pace bowler made the last of his international appearances in 2016 but he looked back to his best in the win over the Sixers taking the wickets of Josh Philippe, James Vince and Dan Christian.

 SCO Key Players:

Colin Munro:
The aggressive New Zealand opening batter hit 14 boundaries in a controlled 73 ball unbeaten innings on Saturday.
Cameron Bancroft:
It has been a while since Bancroft last played for Australia but he looked in good form making 45 from 37 balls against Adelaide Strikers.
Andrew Tye:
The 35 year old fast bowler has not been selected for Australia since August of this year but bowled at an international level on Saturday.

 Team Forms:

 HUR Team Form:

  • Any team who gets a victory over Sydney Sixers must be doing something right. If Hobart Hurricanes can follow up the win with another in this match then pundits will start to take them seriously.
~

 SCO Team Form:

  • Even at this early stage of the 2021-22 BBL campaign, Perth Scorchers are the only team to have an unblemished record.
