 Info:

  • Virat Kohli hit his second successive unbeaten score in the 70s in the third T20I on Tuesday and there can be no doubt that he is now back to his best. However, no other India batsman made a score above 24 resulting in a target that was extremely hard to defend for the bowlers. Like in the second T20I, Virat will need a team-mate to bat with him to post a total which will be too imposing for England.
  • Rohit Sharma returned to the side at the top of the order with a 17 ball 15. He’ll be looking to build on this in the next game.
  • For England, Mark Wood caught the eye with impressive figures of 3-31, but don’t be surprised if he is rested again to protect him from any potential injuries. If that does happen, Jofra Archer will be expected to lead the attack and take crucial wickets.
 Live Streaming
The live streaming of the series will be available on Disney Hotstar.
 TV Channels
The match can be watched live on Star Sports in India and Sky Cricket in the UK.
 Toss Prediction
Although England will be keen to try and win games from different positions, we think they are prioritizing winning the series over team strategy development. Whoever gets to choose out of Kohli and Morgan will elect to field first.

 Weather & Pitch Report
⛅ Weather:
It will be hot once again in Ahmedabad with temperatures falling from a high of 39 to the mid and low 30s for the game.
🏟️ Pitch:
There was talk of Moeen Ali coming in for England ahead of the previous game so, although the pitch will be similar, don’t be surprised if we see more spin.

 Team NEWS:

 INDIA Team News:
India responded to defeat in the first T20I by handing debuts to Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav. We expect them to continue with the same team from the last game which saw Rohit Sharma return to the side.

 ENGLAND Team News:
England will be delighted to have returned to winning ways after Sunday’s big defeat. Jos Buttler coming into form at the top of the order is a big plus for Eoin Morgan’s side.

 IND Key Players:

 Rishabh Pant:
The wicketkeeper has performed well with the gloves and been a part of good partnerships with the bat in all three games in the series. However, he has been dismissed in the 20s in each innings and must kick on in this match. Even just an extra over of Pant batting could be the difference between the sides.

 Virat Kohli:
Back-to-back unbeaten innings of 73 and 77 from the captain have put England on the back foot in successive games. Although there were no crowds in the stadium, and won’t be in the final two games, Kohli still played in a manner that suffocated the England bowlers.

 Bhuvneshwar Kumar:
His bowling has been tight throughout the series with an economy rate of 7.50 and under in each game. He needs other bowlers to back him up as the England batsmen are treating him with due respect.

 ENG Key Players:

 Jason Roy:
He batted throughout the innings for his unbeaten 83 from 52 balls, his first major contribution with the bat during the series. He allows other batsmen to build their innings at the other end and forces the opposition bowlers to alter their plans.

 Jonny Bairstow:
After a poor return in the Test series, Bairstow has contributed with the bat in each game of the T20I series so far. On Tuesday, his unbeaten 40 came from 28 balls, and his ability to attack from his first ball is a major weapon for England.

 Jofra Archer:
With Mark Wood expected to be rested, Archer will be asked to carry the pace bowling attack single-handedly again. He will need support from the other bowlers if his penetrating bowling is to reap rewards for the team.
