IPL 2023: After the mini-auction, RR’s best-predicted playing XI
Rajasthan Royals (RR) made some significant player acquisitions in the just completed Indian Premier League 2023 auction to strengthen their team for the 2023 campaign. The team lost to Gujarat Titans to end their season as runners-up the previous year. The Royals dominated the competition as evidenced by Jos Buttler and Yuzvendra Chahal, two of its best players, winning the Orange Cap and Purple Cap, respectively.
The management’s goal at the auction was to close several holes that would have jeopardized RR’s campaign the next year. Last month, RR released non-performing names, leaving them with 13.2 crores in the bank. They spent INR 9.85 crore of the sum to purchase some names that would be useful to them in the upcoming edition. The club hopes to become the most significant team in the competition the next year by making these purchases.
