IRE vs SA Tips, Stats & Team for Today Match Prediction

Match:  IRE vs SA ODI Match Prediction
Time:   13 July, 03:15 PM (IST)

 Series:: 2nd ODI Match
Venue:  The Village – Dublin, Ireland.

  • In the absence of Quinton De Kock, Aiden Markram will be South Africa’s best bet for the top scorer. He was their second-highest run-getter in the T20I series against West Indies.
  • Paul Stirling might have missed have out in the first game but we are still very confident that he will come good in the second game. He is their highest run-scorer in the limited-overs format. We’ll back him as Ireland’s top scorer.
  • The pitch is flat and good for batting. Ireland batted well in the first game while South Africa too have plenty of quality batsmen. We think the 1st inning team score can be above 250 in the next game.

Live Streaming: The series will be broadcasted on Sky Sports in Ireland and Super Sports in South Africa.

 Weather & Pitch Report
⛅ Weather:
The weather be cloudy but we should have a result in the next game.
🏟️ Pitch:
The match will be played at The Village, Dublin. The surface was pretty flat in the first game. It had some pace but not quite to trouble the batsmen. Dublin should offer another paradise for the batsmen.
 Toss Prediction
The wicket looked pretty good to bat. It should stay the same throughout the game. Bowling first is the right call here.

 Winning Chances:

Who will win today match: IRE vs SA ODI Fantasy Team
Ireland batted well in the first ODI before the match was called off due to rain. While they have made a statement that the series won’t be a one-sided affair, they will need a mammoth effort to get past South Africa, who are still the favourites to win.

 Team NEWS:

 IRE Team News:
  • Given that the match couldn’t be completed, we don’t think Ireland will make any changes to their XI unless there is an injury concern.
 SA Team News:
  • Quinton de Kock was surprisingly rested in the first game. We don’t think South Africa will drop a player without giving him an opportunity to express himself. They too shall field the same XI.

C & VC Options for SL:

Aiden Markram
William Porterfield
Kagiso Rabada
Paul Stirling

 IRE Key Players:

 Paul Stirling
Stirling is Ireland’s most experienced player. He is their highest run-getter as well in limited-overs cricket. He did miss out in the first game but on a flat surface, he will back himself to come good in the next game.

 Andrew Balbirnie
The skipper looked at complete ease against a strong South Africa bowling and fetched a solid half-century. He too will be keen to play a big knock and lead his team to their first win over South Africa.

 Mark Adair
He is a brilliant player to have in your team. He is a very capable bowler and a more than handy batsman.

 SA Key Players:

 Aiden Markram
In the absence of De Kock, Markram will be responsible for getting South Africa off to a good start. He is a top batter and can be backed to come good on a flat deck.

 Tabraiz Shamsi
After impressing in West Indies, Shamsi bowled a good little spell in the first game against Ireland. The Irish looked at some trouble against Shamsi. He will be a big threat for them in the next game.

 Kagiso Rabada
One of the best pacers going around in the world, Rabada had a wonderful outing in the first ODI and scalped two wickets. He is likely to be to Ireland’s nemesis in the next game as well.

 Team Forms:

 IRE Team Form:
  • Ireland have not been in the best of form and have succumbed to losses in four of their last five series.
 SA Team Form:
  • South Africa are coming back from a terrific tour to West Indies where they won the Test and T20I series.
