KAR vs QUE Tips, Stats & Team for T20 Match Prediction

Match:  KAR vs QUE T20 Match Prediction
Time:     29 January, 02:30 PM (IST)

 Series:   PSL T20 Match
Venue:   National Stadium – Karachi, Pakistan

 Info:

  • Babar Azam hit 68 boundaries during the 2021 PSL and the Pakistan all-format captain is our tip for Karachi Kings’ highest run scorer in this match. Mohammad Nabi’s off-spin was particularly useful at the National Stadium on Thursday and he is well worth backing as Karachi Kings’ top wicket taker against Quetta Gladiators.
  • Will Smeed hit 97 from 62 balls on Friday and is a strong choice for Quetta Gladiators’ highest run scorer against Karachi Kings. Mohammad Nawaz rook 3-44 in the defeat against Peshawar Zalmi and is our pick for Quetta Gladiators’ top wicket taker against Karachi Kings.
  • Although he was not at his best on Thursday, we are predicting Babar Azam to take the Player of the Match Award.

 Live Streaming:

TV Channel : The game will be shown live on A Sports and PTV Sports in Pakistan with Sony Sports Network showing the match in India. In the USA, Willow TV have the coverage with Flow Sports broadcasting the fixture in the Caribbean. Sky Cricket will show the game in the UK with Sky Sports showing in it New Zealand.

Live Streaming: Fans can stream the match on SonyLiv and SkyGo.

 Weather & Pitch Report:

⛅ Weather:

High of 22 degrees with the humidity level increasing as the game progresses.

🏟️ Pitch:

We expect to see a very dry pitch in Karachi with spin bowlers getting plenty of purchase from the surface. A total will need to be over 180 to be considered defendable.

 Toss Prediction:

Fielding first remains the fashion for captains in the Pakistan Super League. With humidity likely to become an issue later in the game, we expect the skipper who wins the toss to insert the opposition in this match.

 Team News:

 KAR Team News:

  • Although Babar Azam’s side were behind throughout their defeat against Multan Sultans, there were no glaring weaknesses in the side. We expect to see them put out the same XI in this match of PSL 2022 with Mohammad Amir remaining on the sidelines with a side strain.

 QUE Team News:

  • After Ahsan Ali and Will Smeed put on 155 inside 16 overs on Friday, it looked like Quetta Gladiators would be getting off to a winning start against Peshawar Zalmi. However, only Naseem Shah was able to keep the run-rate down with the ball. The team will be better for Friday’s game and we expect to see them unchanged.

Who will win today match: MUL vs LAH T20 Match Team

Neither team got off to a winning start in this season’s PSL but Quetta Gladiators will have taken more positives out of their defeat. We expect both sides to be very focused on securing a victory and our prediction is for Karachi Kings to get the win.

 KAR Key Players:

Babar Azam:
The Karachi Kings captain looked a little out of form against Multan Sultans but a player of his ability is never far away from a big score.
Joe Clarke:
The young English keeper-batter came into this tournament after a successful BBL. He impressed with 26 from 24 balls in the opener.
Mohammad Nabi:
The vastly experienced and former IT20 world number one all-rounder, Nabi opened his account with useful runs and wickets on Thursday.

 QUE Key Players:

Will Smeed:
The 20 year old English opener burst onto the scene in the T20 Blast and the Men’s Hundred in 2021. He is a player for the future and also clearly for the present.
Ahsan-Ali:
The opener made 73 from 46 balls on Friday in an innings which included 8 fours and 3 sixes. Another international cap can not be far away.
Mohammad Nawaz:
The all rounder found plenty of assistance for his left-arm spin on Friday. He picked up the wickets of all of Peshawar Zalmi’s top three.

 Team Forms:

 KAR Team Form:

  • After losing in the Eliminator 1 last year and their opening game this season, Karachi Kings have lost their last two PSL matches.
~

 QUE Team Form:

  • Quetta Gladiators have lost their last three matches in the PSL.
