  ℹ️ Match Finished

 Winning Chances:

Who will win today match: GUY vs BAR CPL T20 Match Fantasy Team
Both teams are evenly matched but we are backing Nepal to start win a win due to a greater depth in the team.

Nepal are favourites to beat Papua New Guinea

 NEP Key Players:

 Sandeep Lamichhane:

Lamichhane is a well-known name in the cricketing world and his fast legbreaks with deceptive googly can be hard to score of.
Sandeep Lamichhane in 10 ODIs has 23 wickets and his best bowling performance was 6/16.

 Aasif Sheikh:

The 20-year-old right hand batsman has had a good start to his career in T20I and would like to bring that form in the ODIs.
Aasif Sheikh in 5 T20I has scored 154 runs at an average of 38.5 and strike rate of 138.7.

 PNG Key Players:

 Tony Ura:

The opening batsman has the game to score big and also at a decent rate. As the T20 World Cup qualifying matches to get into Super 12 would commence in Oman, this would be an opportunity for Tony to get in form.
Tony Ura in 26 ODIs has scored 718 runs at an average of 27.61. His highest score is 151.

 Asadollah Vala:

He is the captain of the team and for PNG to challenge Nepal in this series Vala may have to lead with the bat.
Asadollah Vala in 27 ODIs has 739 runs at an average of 27.37.

 Team Forms:

 NEP Team Form:

  • Papua New Guinea hasn’t played since World Cup qualifiers in 2019. The team reached the final but lost to Netherlands in the summit clash. Before the final, they had defeated teams like Namibia, Kenya, Singapore, Netherlands and Bermuda. It must be noted that all these were T20I games. Papua New Guinea would certainly look to carry on from where they left in the qualifiers. The only question is if they can transform that form into 50 overs games.  They’ll be up against Nepal, who are fresh from a tri-series win involving Malaysia and Netherlands.

 PNG Team Form:

  • Nepal has a very strong side and will pose a stern challenge to Papua New Guinea. Both teams have not played a lot of 50 overs cricket and the team that can make that transformation quickly will have an advantage.
