RCB vs MI Tips, Stats & Team for Today Match Prediction

Match:  RCB vs MI IPL T20 Match Prediction
Time:     26 September, 07:30 PM (IST)

 Series:   IPL T20 Match
Venue:   Dubai Cricket Stadium – Dubai, United Arab Emirates

 Info:

  • Devdutt Padikkal hit 8 boundaries in his 50-ball 70 on Friday evening. He is our recommendation for RCB’s leading run scorer against Mumbai Indians. Harshal Patel has 19 wickets in the tournament and is our pick for RCB’s top wicket taker in this match.
  • Mumbai Indians’ highest run scorer in the competition is Rohit Sharma and his is a strong choice for their leading run scorer in this game. With the ball, Jasprit Bumrah took all 3 wickets for the side in their defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders. Bumrah is well worth backing as Mumbai Indians’ top wicket taker against RCB.
  • Jasprit Bumrah was the standout bowler in Thursday’s game. We expect him to perform at the same high level in this match and to be awarded with the Player of The Match Award.

 Toss Prediction:

Both teams were asked to bat first after losing the toss in their last games. As they both ended up on the losing side, we expect that whoever wins the toss will choose to field first.

 Team News:

 RCB Team News:

Virat Kohli made one change to his side before their defeat to Chennai Super Kings on Friday evening. Tim David replaced Sachin Baby in the middle-order of the batting line up. The team is full of superstars but they must turn around their form in this match.

 MI Team News:

Rohit Shamra’s side looked to have found their feet in IPL 2021 by winning the final two games in India during April and May. However, they have gone back to losing in the UAE with successive defeats so far. Their team should be winning more games and the best XI picks itself.

Who will win today match: RCB vs MI IPL T20 Match Fantasy Team
Two giant teams of the Indian Premier League meet in this game with both needing to get a win. Neither have tasted victory in the UAE yet this season and, as a result, this match has added significance. We are backing Mumbai Indians to win this fixture.

 RCB Key Players:

 Virat Kohli:

The captain hit 53 from 41 balls including 7 boundaries on Friday. It was his second half-century of this year’s IPL.

 Devdutt Padikkal:

The opener made 70 from 50 balls in the defeat to CSK and he has now hit 287 runs in the tournament, the most of any of the RCB players.

 Harshal Patel:

The pace bowler continues to set the standard at the top of the wicket taking list in the competition. Patel has 19 wickets at 15.52.

 MI Key Players:

 Quinton de Kock:

The South African keeper-batsman made a 42-ball 55 against KKR on Thursday. He will be looking to build on his 2 half-centuries in the tournament so far.

 Rohit Sharma:

The captain is the highest run scorer in the team so far in the competition but he must produce a big score to get the Indians back on track.

 Jasprit Bumrah:

The pace bowler struggled in the earlier stages of the tournament but he looked back to his wicket-taking best with 3 dismissals against KKR.

 ℹ️ Match Finished
Toss: MI won the TOSS & elected to BOWL first.

IN: H Pandya, K Jamieson. S Ahmed, D Christian
OUT: S Tiwari, W Hasaranga, N Saini, T David

Pitch Report:
The outfield is quite superb here. It’s a fresh pitch for today’s game. It’s a very hard and compact surface and there is a nice grass coverage. It looks as though the ball will come on nicely and the spinners are gonna have to work really hard as I don’t know how much purchase the slower men can get out of this surface. The faster men are the key on this surface.
