RR vs MI Tips, Stats & Team for Today Match Prediction

Match:  RR vs MI IPL T20 Match Prediction
Time:     05 October, 07:30 PM (IST)

 Series:   IPL T20 Match
Venue:   Sharjah Cricket Stadium – Sharjah -UAE

 Info:

  • Yashasvi Jaiswal has been making valuable runs in the UAE and hit a 21-ball 50 in the win over Chennai Super Kings on Saturday. Jaiswal is our tip for Rajasthan Royals’ highest run scorer in this match. Left-arm bowler Chetan Sakariya has been a consistent wicket taker throughout the tournament and is well worth backing as Rajasthan Royals’ top wicket taker against Mumbai Indians.
  • Suryakumar Yadav top scored with 33 from 26 balls in Saturday’s defeat to Delhi Capitals. Batting at number 3, Yadav is our recommendation for Mumbai Indians’ highest run scorer in this game. With the ball, Jasprit Bumrah continues to pick up wickets in every game and is a strong choice for Mumbai Indians’ top wicket taker against Rajasthan Royals.
  • We are backing Suryakumar Yadav to deliver a big score with the bat and take the Player of The Match Award in this fixture.

 Weather & Pitch Report:

⛅ Weather:

Clear conditions with highs from 33 to 32 degrees during this match in Sharjah.
🏟️ Pitch:
There were 3 wickets apiece for Moises Henriques, Mohammed Shami and Yuzvendra Chahal in the last game in Sharjah. Expect the pace bowlers to enjoy the conditions with a par total of around 160-170.

 Toss Prediction:

RCB chose to bat first after winning the toss in the last game in Sharjah and with both sides needing an improvement in their net-run-rate, we predict both teams to want to bat first.

 Team News:

 RR Team News:

No team has had to experience as many pull-outs or team churn during 2021 than Rajasthan Royals and if they manage to make the play-offs it should be heralded as one of the great IPL achievements. The win over CSK showed that they will battle until the bitter end.

 MI Team News:

We may well be seeing the end of Mumbai Indians’ dominance of the IPL but all is not lost yet. Their bowling attack again performed to a high standard against Delhi Capitals on Saturday but the experienced opening batters must deliver in this game to keep their hopes alive.

Who will win today match: RR vs MI IPL T20 Match Fantasy Team
With defeat spelling elimination from the tournament for either team, this should be a nervy but exciting match at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Neither side is in particularly good form but we are backing Mumbai Indians to dig deep into their wealth of experience to win this crucial game.

 RR Key Players:

 Yashavi Jaiswal:

The opener hit 9 boundaries with a strike-rate of 238.10 in his half-century against CSK on Saturday.

 Sanju Samson:

The captain has made 480 runs in the tournament so far and is only 48 runs from the top of the list in the orange cap race.

 Mustafizur Rahman:

The left-arm pace bowler has picked up wickets in each of the last three games.

 Chetan Sakariya:

The young left-arm pace bowler has picked up wickets in all but one of the UAE fixtures. He will enjoy the Sharjah conditions.

 MI Key Players:

 Rohit Sharma:

The Mumbai Indians’ captain sits in 3rd place in the all-time IPL run scorers. He must improve on his top score of 43 in the UAE this year.

 Suryakumar Yadav:

The talented top order batter had struggled in the UAE but his 33 should provide him with real belief at this stage in the IPL 2021.

 Jasprit Bumrah:

With 11 wickets during the UAE leg of the competition, the Indian pacer is one of the form bowlers on show.

Other C & VC: Y Jaiswal & K Pollard.
Toss: MI won the TOSS & elected to BOWL first.

IN: I Kishan, J Neesham,S Gopal, K Yadav
OUT: QDK, K Pandya, A Singh, M Markande

Pitch Report:
The pitch we are using has been used on two previous occasions, both times the team batting second has won. First one was the RCB-CSK game where 156 was chased and then recently the DC vs MI game. The surface has got a bit of sheen, not the old Sharjah sheen. Run-scoring has been tough, it does look dark and patchy. Don’t think run-scoring is going to be easy. Anyone winning the toss is going to bat second.
