 Info:

  • South Africa have a bleak bowling line up and lack a genuine match winner in that department.
  • For Pakistan, all their batsman are in top form which hands them a massive advantage.
  • South Africa are too dependent on their top 3 and their middle order looks very vulnerable.

 Weather & Pitch Report
⛅ Weather:
The weather looks fine with temperatures hovering around mid 20’s
🏟️ Pitch:
The pitch was a belter in the first game and we expect it to play the same in the upcoming game. Apart from the first couple of overs with the new ball, there shouldn’t be much on offer for the bowlers.

 Team NEWS:

 SA Team News:
Rassie van der Dussen hasn’t recovered from the injury and that should keep him out of the next game as well. The hosts are expected to field the same XI.

 PAK Team News:
Having won the first game, Pakistan will most probably stick with the same combination for the next game.

 SA Key Players:

 Janneman Malan:
Malan is another batsman to watch out for. He scored a 50 in the final ODI and played a cameo in the 1st T20. He’d look to play a longer inning in the 2nd T20I.

 Aiden Markaram:
Markram has been in fine form of late. Ahead of the Pakistan series, he played in South Africa’s domestic tournament and scored a double hundred and a hundred. He looked good in the ODI series but failed to get a big one. In the first T20 he fetched himself a half century. He’s expected to come good in the next game as well.

 Beuran Hendricks:
South Africa will rely on him to get some early wickets. If he does so, South Africa can hope for levelling the series.

 PAK Key Players:

 Babar Azam:
Babar Azam is one of the best players going around in world cricket. He was in fine form in the ODI series and can be backed to come good in the T20I series as well.

 Mohammad Rizwan:
Rizwan has been in scintillating form, especially in T20Is. He scored a 50 in the first game, which was his 10th consecutive half century in the T20 format. He likes to bat at the top and we can expect another blistering start from him.

 Fakhar Zaman
Fakhar Zaman was outstanding in the ODIs and played a cameo in the 1st T20. T20 is a format he prefers thus there are great chances that he will perform well in the second T20
