Team NEWS:
WEF-W Team News:
- It looked like Welsh Fire had left themselves short vs Oval Invincibles after scoring just 112/6, however an excellent bowling performance saw them restrict their opponents to 100/9 to help secure victory.
- West Indian Hayley Matthews was the star of the show for Fire, picking up three wickets in their successive strangle of the Invincibles’ batters and after a fairly slow start to the Hundred, all-rounder Matthews is starting to really show her class with both ball and bat.
- Welsh Fire have played the same side in each of their last two victories and it would be a surprise if they were to make any changes to their line-up for this one.
TRT-W Team News:
- After a poor start to the competition, Trent Rockets are firmly back in the hunt for a top three spot, backing up their win over London Spirit with another victory, this time against Birmingham Phoenix.
- Sammy-Jo Johnson’s bowling did much of the damage for the Rockets, the Australian picking up three wickets whilst Heather Graham’s crucial knock of 44 from just 21 runs in the middle order helped push Trent Rockets to 145/5, giving Johnson and the rest of their bowling unit plenty to work with.
- Like Welsh Fire, an unchanged team appears on the cards for Trent Rockets, who appear to have found a strong balance between bat and ball, which bodes well for them heading into the business end of the competition.

Team Forms:
WEF-W Team Form:
- Bryony Smith hasn’t done well at the top and needs to contribute to a good opening wicket stand with Hayley Matthews. The middle order looked good in the last game and the trio of Georgia Redmayne, Sarah Taylor and Luff shall have to make runs. Down the order Georgia Hennessy and Piepa Cleary have the ability of getting big hits towards the end of the innings.
TRT-W Team Form:
- Rachel Priest and Sammy-Jo-Johnson have regained form, and this is welcome new for the side at the top. Their middle order has looked good with Katherine Brunt, Heather Graham and Natalie Sciver doing well and they shall look to repeat their success here. In Sarah Glenn and Abbey Freeborn there is strength down the order.
