WI vs AUS Tips, Stats & Team for Today Match Prediction

Match:  WI vs AUS T20 Match Prediction
Time:   15 July, 05:00 AM (IST)

 Series:: 4th T20 Match
Venue:  DSS – Gros Islet, Saint Lucia.

 Info:

  • Chris Gayle passed 14,000 T20 runs whilst top scoring for West Indies in Tuesday’s IT20. He hit 7 sixes and is a good tip for West Indies’ highest run scorer in this clash. Hayden Walsh took 2-18 to follow-up his 6 wickets across the opening 2 matches. He is an excellent choice for West Indies’ top wicket taker.
  • Aaron Finch produced some runs for the first time in the series with 30 from 31 balls in the third IT20. This could be the turning point for him in the series and he is a reliable option for Australia’s leading run scorer. With the ball, Mitchell Starc recorded 1-15 on Tuesday, his best figures of the series and is a strong contender for Australia’s top wicket taker.
  • Nicholas Pooran hit 32* but didn’t contribute to any dismissals in the field in the third game of the series. Matthew Wade hit 23 from 16 balls at the top of the order and took the catch to dismiss Chris Gayle in the same game. We would suggest Matthew Wade as the top wicket-keeper in this match.

 Weather & Pitch Report
⛅ Weather:
Similar conditions to earlier in the week with perhaps slightly less cloud than in other games.
🏟️ Pitch:
Australia were unable to pace their innings correctly on Tuesday. The wicket certainly has a score of 200+ in it although we would only expect that from West Indies currently.
 Toss Prediction
Aaron Finch changed his approach and chose to bat first in the last IT20. However, that did not work for Australia so we envisage both captains to look to insert the opposition this time.

 Winning Chances:

Who will win today match: WI vs AUS T20 Fantasy Team
So far in the series it seems that Australia are really missing the likes of Steve Smith, David Warner, Pat Cummins and Glenn Maxwell. Their replacements are yet to fire and are constantly coming up short with the bat. We are backing West Indies to win and make it 4-0 in this match.

 Team NEWS:

 WI Team News:
  • West Indies Announce T20I Squad For Last 2 Matches vs Australia; 2 Changes In The Squad.
  • Left-arm Spinner Akeal Hossain and off-spinner Kevin Sinclair have been named as replacements for injured Shimron Hetmyer and Obed McCoy in the West Indies squad for the last two T20I matches against Australia.
  • At 3-0 up with two games to play, West Indies are sky-high in confidence with pretty much all of their team contributing at some stage over the opening matches. We expect Kieron Pollard to continue to rehabilitate with the same XI from the last game more likely than not.
 AUS Team News:
  • 3-0 down in a series is unfamiliar territory for Australia, this is the first time they have lost a bi-lateral series with West Indies in any format since 1995. After making changes for the last game, they will surely stick with those players and give them another opportunity to impress.

 WI Key Players:

 Chris Gayle
At the age of 41, the Universe Boss continues to deliver. He has now brought up 14,000 T20 runs and produced 11 boundaries in Monday’s game.

 Obed McCoy
The left-arm fast bowler only bowled 1 over in the third IT20 so will still be relatively fresh for this clash. He has wickets in each of his last 6 IT20 games.

 Hayden Walsh
The leg-spin bowler has 8 wickets in the series so far. He took the crucial wickets of big hitting Aaron Finch and Alex Carey in the last match.

 AUS Key Players:

 Aaron Finch
Australia’s opening captain was just starting to flex his muscles and go for the big shots when he was dismissed on Monday. Those 30 runs could be crucial for the return of his confidence.

 Matthew Wade
The wicket-keeper batsman has impressed in the pinch hitting roll at the top of the order. However, his team need a half-century as opposed to quick fire 20s and 30s.

 Mitchell Starc
Returned his best figures of the series so far in the third IT20. If Australia can get him and Hazlewood operating in tandem then they could cause real problems for the home batsmen.

 Team Forms:

 WI Team Form:
  • Winning three games in a row against Australia is no mean feat in any format. West Indies are firing on all cylinders and look like a strong option for defending the T20 World Cup.
 AUS Team Form:
  • Australia’s form in this format is now a real cause for concern. They lost the final IT20 in New Zealand and results in the Caribbean mean they have now lost 4 in a row.

 SQUAD:
 West Indies:

Lendl Simmons, Andre Fletcher, Chris Gayle, Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran(w/c), Andre Russell, Dwayne Bravo, Fabian Allen, Hayden Walsh, Sheldon Cottrell, Obed McCoy, Evin Lewis, Kieron Pollard, Akeal Hosein, Fidel Edwards, Oshane Thomas, Kevin Sinclair.
