WI-W Team News:

After a delay to the start of the series, West Indies Women were narrowly beaten by five runs (DLS) in the opening WODI. There was a new look top three with Rashada Williams, Natasha McLean and Shabika Gajnabi coming in ahead of Stafanie Taylor and captain Hayley Matthews.

The visitors gave a WODI debut to 18 year old wicket-keeper Isabella Gaze on Monday. She had previously played five WT20Is but the opening match was her first appearance in the longer white ball format. Strong scores from the top three were enough to take New Zealand Women to a tight win.
